6-Ingredient Gooey Brownie Pudding/Homer Bailey No-Hitter Ice Cream Sundae

This is a recipe for those days when you need some chocolate and not just any chocolate, a serious hit of in-your-face, indulgent, gooey chocolate.  If you bake from time to time I bet you already have these ingredients on hand so all you need is a bowl and half an hour before you have this.  IMG_8911These beautiful crown dessert plates were a gift from my sister, Cameron, and you can find them here.

Update: This has now been christened the Homer Bailey No-Hitter Ice Cream Sundae.  To make: watch the Red’s Homer Bailey pitch a no-hitter, spoon some pudding into a bowl, cut half a banana on top, spoon on some vanilla ice cream and enjoy – Go Reds! IMG_8910

What to buy:

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • preheat the oven to 350
  • melt 2 sticks of butter in a 13 by 9 inch baking dish
  • combine the eggs, vanilla and sugar in a bowl, mixing until light yellow in color
